Eve did something wrong. Surely, her conscience was telling her that she did so. Shortly after, she was confronted on her wrong-doings. Eve's first response was an attempt to find an evasive way out; and washing her hands ~so to speak~ she passed the blame on to someone else: The Serpent.
Wars, violence, tortures, fears, desolation, misery, despair, hopelessness, depression, anguish, pessimism, sorrow, sadness, grief, anxiety, hunger, betrayal of trust, broken hearts, and lost relationships go back to such transcendental day in the Garden of Eden. Although it was a simple event, Eve showed her Lord that she acted on her own will and ignored His instructions. Since that transcendental day, Eve left us with all of the above.
Thousands of years later, it is noticeable such a large number of people who still act on and follow Eve's footsteps. When those people do something wrong, they do not admit. Like Eve, what comes after their denial can be well anticipated; and that is to knowingly pass blame on to someone else. Their malicious intent makes persistent the detrimental, destructive, and harmful conditions and situations above.
Unlike Eve, however, those people early in life learned from examples shown to them by parents and close family members how to negate what they did, how to deceive others, and how to exactly repudiate people who confront them.
What happened to Eve that transcendental day early in the history of humans on earth? She was thrown out of the garden. Later on, Eve was exterminated for disobeying, for not following instructions, and for not showing trustworthiness expected of her. Eve ~as well as those who are not trustworthy~ shall be unrooted, and then discarded from earth for not respecting, abiding by, and acting on rules which ~in fairness and for good reasons~ were created by a mastermind on our behalf.
When the time comes, and with no exceptions, we will all be found on either the side of the fence together with Eve vanishing in a garden of emptiness OR on the side of the fence with people who will be given life. They are the ones who wisely took the time to learn why we must unequivocally go through every day of our lives obeying and acting in accordance with a mastermind's instructions.
