MSM is organic sulfur. Its full name is MethylSulfonylMethane.
Our body ~and that of our pets~ utilizes it daily, but neither ours nor theirs can store it. Consequently, it must be replenished continually. Any excess amount is safely excreted by the skin, and since insects do not like it at all, MSM efficiently repels them.
MSM is necessary for collagen synthesis, It is then such vital component in skin cells and bones where it knits minerals together and gives flexibility to both. It is not surprising that MSM is regarded as a capable pain reliever as well as a meaningful treatment in the swelling and inflammation of joints and connective tissues. It is found in all body tissues, and is needed for the synthesis of collagen which a principal protein to skin’s health and look."
