How Can I Find Peace

IF YOU ARE old enough, have you noticed how the world has progressively gone worst as life goes on? It makes us ask ourselves "How can I find peace" to cope with it. It is as if we were walking down a road in such gorgeous day with a midly warm sun, an agreeable breeze, and beauty of natural scenes around us when the sky progressively gets dark, thunder booms unpleasantly to our ears, lightening blindly flashes our eyes, rain falls in torrents, strong winds take away our things, and our days get miserable.

It certainly feels like yelling "How can I find peace !"

You now imagine that you find alongside that road of today's life a sturdy shelter. It looks like it offers safety, protection, and peace you can not find. Would you rush with your family to seek shelter in such a solid and well-built place? Stupid question, is not it? Even people with little common sense, and not much intellect, would rush to it.

Solid common sense and true intellect are needed to construe that not everyone will be allowed to go in the only place offering true safety, real protection, and gives you and I peace we can not find. If you are old enough ~and you posses solid common sense, true intellect, and you have asked "How can I find peace"~ you likely deciphered that someone decides who qualifies to go in and who will be prevented from doing so.

Some people in this world are getting fearful.

They want to know if they qualify. Some venture to say "You have to believe in whoever decides who qualifies." Well... there is much more than a simplistic "You have to believe..." Believing is not enough to qualify for a shelter that guarantees protection and safety to anyone not finding peacefulness. It would be too easy !

It is because...

» The owner observes us to corroborate if we can provide clear evidence determining if we deserve to be let in His shelter. He watches attentively to the way we live our life; the way we act; how proper is our own attitude; how clean and honest are our intents; how considerate we are to others and animals; how sincere are feelings in our heart.

» The owner puts a mark on the hypocrites and pretenders claiming to believe, but they succumb and capitulate to drugs and/or alcohol; immoral sex; fail to love in truth people and animals by being unkind and disrespectful; worship money, power, or both; have idols; show greed with their selfish acts of "It is all about me"; lie, deceive, cheat; could become violent.

What would you do ?

If you were the architect, builder, and owner and you see people all over living in state of distress, affliction, and harsh difficulties who ask themselves "How can I find peace", would you allow in your shelter everyone ~even those that will trash and degrade your shelter doing ANY of the above~ OR would you let in those who deserve your protection to find abundance of peace for doing NONE of the above ?

yahweh will provide escape from wicked people,
and will save them. it is because they have taken
refuge in Him.

-- Psalms 37:40

the upright will dwell on earth
and the blamless will remain on it,
but the wicked will be cut off and the
unfaithful will be uprooted from earth.

-- Proverbs 2:21,22

the meek ones will posses the earth,
and they will find exquisite delight
in the abundance of peace.

-- Psalms 37:11
